This skirt is part of a series embroidered with cutely wrapped apple jam and other things.
The front hem is lavishly embroidered with a kitten playing with an apple, gingham checked hearts, a kitten and apples relaxing in a basket, and a jam jar.
This layered gingham checked skirt is inspired by an apron and has a drawstring-style design on the front.

It's actually sewn in place so there's no need to worry about it coming undone or falling down.

If you attach a ribbon brooch to the end of the drawstring, it will look cute as if it is tied with a ribbon.
The center waist is plain and decorated with gold-edged pearl buttons.

The ruffled hem uses the same gingham check as the layered skirt.
There is no embroidery on the back of the design, but the ribbon on the back is long, so we recommend tying the ribbon slightly longer.
It comes in three colors: a limited edition navy with an eye-catching red color scheme, a red that resembles an apple, and a bitter-sweet black.
We recommend coordinating it with blouses and accessories from the same series, or wearing it with a romantic lace openwork knit poncho.
